Planning a special piece of jewellery for Christmas? 🎄
Christmas is one of my busiest times of year, so I've put together everything you need to know about Christmas ordering deadlines, DNA Collection Kits, ring sizing, delivery and my festive studio closure below.
Please order and return your inclusions as early as possible wherever you can.
Christmas Deadlines - Quick Summary
9k Gold Jewellery
Order by 15th September 2026
Confirmed ring size by 15th September 2026
DNA Collection Kit returned by 1st November 2026
Gold orders placed after 15th September will be scheduled for January 2027 production.
Birthstone Rings
Order by 13th October 2026
Confirmed ring size by 13th October 2026
DNA Collection Kit returned by 1st November 2026
Sterling Silver Jewellery
Order by 1st November 2026
Confirmed ring size by 1st November 2026
DNA Collection Kit returned by 1st November 2026
Please be aware that certain sterling silver ring sizes can sell out during the Christmas rush. If you'd like to check availability for your size before ordering, please feel free to get in touch.
9k Gold Jewellery
The Christmas order deadline for 9k gold jewellery is 15th September 2026.
If you're ordering a ring, I must also have your confirmed ring size by 15th September to keep your order within the Christmas production schedule.
Your DNA Collection Kit and inclusions must then be returned to me by 1st November 2026.
Any 9k gold orders placed after 15th September will be scheduled for January 2027 production.
All 9k gold jewellery is hallmarked.
Birthstone Rings
The Christmas order deadline for birthstone rings is 13th October 2026.
Your confirmed ring size must also be provided by 13th October, with your DNA Collection Kit and inclusions returned by 1st November 2026.
Sterling Silver Jewellery
The Christmas order deadline for sterling silver jewellery is 1st November 2026.
For rings, your confirmed ring size must also be received by 1st November, and all DNA Collection Kits and inclusions should be returned by this date.
Christmas is an exceptionally busy period and some sterling silver ring sizes may temporarily go out of stock. If this affects your order, I'll contact you as soon as possible to discuss availability and your options.
You're also very welcome to contact me before ordering if you'd like me to check whether your required ring size is currently available.
Ring Sizing
If you don't already know your ring size, you can request a free ring sizer in your DNA Collection Kit. Simply make sure you've selected/requested one when placing your order.
Once you've measured your size, please include your confirmed ring size on the form inside your kit when returning it.
Returning Your DNA Collection Kit
For Christmas orders, please return your DNA Collection Kit and inclusions by 1st November 2026 at the latest.
This return deadline applies to 9k gold, sterling silver and birthstone jewellery.
I cannot guarantee pre-Christmas completion for kits or inclusions received after the relevant deadlines, even if the original order was placed before the Christmas order cut-off.
How It Works
Choose your jewellery and place your order through the website.
Confirm your ring size, if applicable. A free ring sizer can be included in your DNA Collection Kit if required.
Return your DNA Collection Kit and inclusions by the relevant Christmas deadline.
I'll create your jewellery and carefully package it ready for dispatch.
Your finished jewellery will be sent using your chosen delivery service.
Christmas Shipping
My aim is to have all guaranteed Christmas orders dispatched at the beginning of December, allowing plenty of time for your jewellery to make its way to you safely ahead of Christmas. 🎄🤍
UK delivery options include:
Royal Mail Special Delivery by 1pm - fully insured
Royal Mail Tracked 24 or Tracked 48 with Signature - uninsured
Free UK shipping is automatically applied to orders over £200.
Thursday 18th December is my final Christmas dispatch date. Orders completed after this date will be dispatched when I return in January.
Please remember that once a parcel has been handed over to Royal Mail, seasonal postal delays are outside of my control.
Christmas Studio Closure 🎄
The studio will be closed from 18th December 2026 until 8th January 2027 while I take a little Christmas break with my family.
During this time, all jewellery turnaround times will be paused. The closure period will not count towards your quoted turnaround time. If your jewellery is part-way through its turnaround when I close, I'll simply pick up from where I left off when I return to the studio.
The website will remain open and orders can still be placed throughout the Christmas period. DNA Collection Kits will also continue to be sent out as usual, although please allow a little extra time for delivery due to the Christmas post.
Sending Breastmilk & Inclusions Over Christmas
Although I will still safely receive and process any breastmilk or inclusions that arrive during the closure, I strongly recommend not posting your DNA Collection Kit back after 11th December.
Royal Mail is exceptionally busy over Christmas and there are fewer collection and delivery days, increasing the possibility of your parcel being delayed within the postal network.
I'd much rather your precious inclusions were kept safely with you over Christmas.
If you haven't posted your kit by 11th December, please keep it safely at home and send it once normal postal services resume in the New Year. Breastmilk can simply remain frozen until you're ready to send it.
If you've already sent your kit and it happens to arrive during my closure, please don't worry. It will still be received and your breastmilk will be processed safely as usual.
Christmas FAQs
What happens if my ring size is out of stock?
I'll contact you as soon as possible to let you know and discuss the next available date or any suitable alternatives. You're also welcome to contact me before ordering and I can check availability for your size.
I've missed the Christmas deadline. Can I still order?
Absolutely! The website remains open and you can still place your order. It simply may not be completed before Christmas depending on the jewellery and when your inclusions are received.
For 9k gold orders placed after the Christmas cut-off, production will take place from January 2027.
I've missed the deadline but still want something to give as a Christmas present.
A digital gift card is a lovely alternative and allows the recipient to choose their own piece after Christmas.
Can I send my breastmilk over Christmas?
Any breastmilk arriving during my closure will still be safely processed. However, I recommend not posting kits after 11th December because of potential Royal Mail Christmas delays. Keep your milk frozen and send it in the New Year instead.
Do the Christmas closure weeks count towards my turnaround time?
No. Turnaround times are paused from 18th December 2026 until 8th January 2027 and will resume when I return to the studio.
Will my jewellery be hallmarked?
All 9k gold jewellery is hallmarked. Sterling silver jewellery is hallmarked where it meets the legal weight threshold; further information can be found on individual product pages.
