Sending Your Breastmilk & Inclusions
When you confirm your order, you’ll receive one of my DNA collection kits. Each kit contains everything you need to safely collect and return your inclusions, along with a prepaid return envelope.
If you’d prefer to send your inclusions independently, please email me after placing your order and I’ll provide the shipping address.
Important Note
Please do not send the very last of any breastmilk or inclusions (such as hair, ashes, or umbilical cord). Always keep a portion safely with you, just in case of postal delays or loss in transit.
Breastmilk Guidelines
Use the pipette provided to place 15 ml (½ oz) of breastmilk into the first storage bag.
Squeeze out all air, seal firmly, and place into the second (unsealed) bag for extra protection.
Double-bagging is essential to keep the milk sterile and prevent leaks.
For multiple jewellery pieces, 15 ml is still enough. If needed, I can work with as little as 3 ml.
Please note the amount you’ve sent on the back of your form.
Hair
For charms and larger pendants: a generous pinch, at least 2 cm in length, is ideal.
For rings and smaller pendants: a smaller amount is fine.
Place hair into the labelled bag included in your kit.
Umbilical Cord
Send only a pea-sized piece from the darker/purple dried areas.
Only dried cord or placenta capsules are accepted. Fresh cord or placenta cannot be processed and will be returned to you.
Cremation Ashes & Placenta Capsules
Ashes: about ½ teaspoon in the labelled bag.
Placenta: place one capsule in the labelled bag.
Ring Sizer
If you’ve requested a ring sizer, please complete the ring size confirmation on the form in your kit. Instructions are provided, but if you need guidance, I’m always happy to help.
Leftover Inclusions
Any unused inclusions (such as hair, dried cord, or ashes) will be safely returned to you with your completed jewellery.
